Pricing And Other Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much due you charge to create and maintain my website?
This is the Number One questions people ask.  Our charges are very simple.  For most websites we charge $400 to create the site and maintain it for the first year, then $300 per year after that is $300 per year to maintain your site.  We will make as many changes and updates as you request..  All sites are due and renewable on January 1 of each year.

2. What about email addresses?
We create as many custom email addresses as you want.  You can either have them as full blown accounts or forwarders that send the email to another existing account.  There is no extra charge for email addresses.  Also, you have the option of using our webmail or configuring your email for your favorite email program.

3. Are there any “hidden” costs besides the membership fee and what is not covered by it?
No “hidden” charges – The membership fee includes all your web hosting fees; complete website maintenance services and any email addresses you which to create to go with your domain name. The only necessary cost not covered by your membership fee is the purchase of your own domain name (.com; .org; .net; etc.). We will even assist you with a domain name purchase ($15 - $20) through one of our affiliates.

4. Why do all of the memberships come due on January 1st – even those who joined in the “middle” of the year?
We have made every attempt to keep our operating costs as low as possible. By having all of the membership fees due at the same time, saves a lot of bookkeeping time and allows us to do what we really want to do – help those in ministry with their technology challenges!

5. How long does it take to get my site up and running once I join VRN?
That is up to you. We generally have the “framework” up and running in a couple of hours. Then you have to provide us with any text or multimedia that you want displayed.

We have discovered that most of the time when there is a delay in getting a site done, it is because the client does not have their info ready. We suggest that when you are considering creating a site that you immediately begin to acquire the information you want people to see. Scan pictures, write a biography, gather contact information, references and so forth. Any message that you want conveyed to those who visit your site needs to be scanned, typed and ready to put on the web.

6. Is there anything I should do in “preparation” before getting my site?
Yes - you need to begin to acquire the information you want people to see. Scan pictures, write a biography, gather contact information, references and so forth. Any message that you want conveyed to those who visit your site needs to be scanned, typed and ready to put on the web.

Next we suggest that you write out a rough idea of how you want your site to work. For example: You will want your most important info on your home page (directions, hours of operation, a good description of what you are and what you do, etc). Then plan any secondary pages accordingly. We will be glad to assist you in this during our initial consultation.

7. - How will I get help with my site when I need it?
When you become a member of our program we give you our personal cell phone numbers so you can contact us even when we are not at our computers and assist you. Its that easy!

If you have other “questions”; please feel free to contact us. Our goal is to help you!
