 Contact - Dr. Warren Drake Contact - Sis. Suzanne Drake ** Introductory Video ** | The Vision Resources Network is the inspiration of Dr. Warren Drake. Dr. Drake has been in Christian ministry his entire adult life. He has pastored several churches and has served in leadership positions with several denominational fellowships and associations. (Visit his church site - Panama City Christian Center. He noticed that there are many in Christian leadership who, although highly skilled in the Word of God, lacked the basic understanding and knowledge to effectively utilize some of today’s technology. Also, while most denominations and independent fellowships do a great job of ordaining & licensing their members, most do little or nothing to help equip their members and meet this need. Thus, the concept for Vision Resources Network was born. |
Today, we have incorporated the help of a great group of technologically skilled and trained people who also share the vision to help and assist Christian leaders….
1. Get their ministry on the internet (web site) and findable (search engines)
2. Incorporate multimedia (PowerPoint, Videos, etc) in their presentations (sermons, teachings, etc)
3. Do streaming Audio/Video on the internet (broadcast LIVE - services, classrooms, conferences, etc.)
4. Do mass mailings & newsletters (We'll show you how).
5. Accept online donations.
6. Utilize modern communications technology (VoIP - audio AND video).
One of our supplemental goals is to create a Resource Database and Support Community where Christian Leaders can find answers to:
a. Computer and Technological questions
b. Counseling and General Ministry questions
c. Ministry orgaizational questions
Our goals are to also have periodic conventions and seminars where we can come together; provide some structured fellowship; worship with each other; and get hands on training. Remember, we BECOME like those we ASSOCIATE with. The best way to get to learn to do something you don’t know how to do, is to accociate and fellowship with those who do. (We also plan to have a few ONLINE classes and seminars!)

Finally, a word about this site...
This site is created using the e107 website system. This is a full featured, yet EASY TO USE system that allows practically anyone with little or no web design experience to develop and maintain their own web site (thus by-passing the need to have to PAY someone else to do it for you). An added benifit is that it is a web-based system, meaning that the files are kept on the site and you can update & work on them from any computer anywhere! Also, it is very well supported and there are hundreds of "plug-ins" that allow you to quickily customize and add features to your site without having to "reinvent the wheel". (This site was created using e107).
While we will certainly be glad to help you with an existing html site, or refer you to people who can even build you a complete Flash site, we heartily recommend this system for those who are just getting started managing their own site.
